Palmyra is a protected Atoll just 1000 miles due south of Hawaii and was acquired by Lock’s great Grandfather Henry E Cooper. A five – generation family involvement with Palmyra that continues, which has informed Lock’s sensitivity to nature and the environment.
About Us
Founder and Head Broker of Palmyra Properties is Lock Cooper, a Massachusetts native who came to Costa Rica as a teenager to study the country and another language and wound up moving permanently 20 years ago. Locks a serial entrepreneur with various businesses ranging from fine dining, publishing and currently a wine distribution and tasting room in downtown Tamarindo.
Locks main career has always been real estate and development along the gold coast of Costa Rica with a specialty in high end and ecologically focused projects. Lock is also an investor or partner in several companies that use alternative technology for waste water treatment and solar power.
Lock is an avid surfer with a passion for travel, music and spending time with his wife and two lovely daughters in their neighborhood of Langosta beach
